Nobody opens a tarot app to ask something easy. It's the end of a bad day, or the middle of a spiral over someone you can't stop thinking about, or a question you'd never say out loud to a person who knows you. That's exactly the kind of thing most apps like this quietly keep. mercuri is built so it can't.
We can't read what you ask, or what comes back.
Your question is used once, then gone: no row in a database, no log, no backup. Your reading is sealed to a key in your device's own hardware, and nothing exists that could decrypt it, even on request.
Not your name. Not your email. Not your date of birth.
Tarot doesn't need a birth chart, so we never ask. mercuri only knows that you're you, across your own devices.
Your journal never touches our servers at all.
It syncs through your own iCloud account, the same way Notes or Reminders do. We couldn't read it if we wanted to. We've simply never had it.
No analytics. No ad trackers. No profile of you.
